An Evening On The Farm

Celebrate our region’s Farm-to-Families season at a historic urban Farm, rooted in the heart of California agriculture since 1984. Tour The Farm at Cal Expo while California chefs and growers showcase the best of the Golden State’s harvest. More than just great food, drinks, and company, this is an opportunity to help shape the next chapter of this community farm, supporting its expansion, preserving its legacy, and strengthening its impact for generations to come.

Proceeds from An Evening On The Farm will go to the California State Fair Foundation to support the expansion and enhancement of the Farm as a year-round agricultural living classroom and help increase its capacity to provide fresh produce to local families. In 2025 alone, the Farm grew and donated 11,000 pounds of produce to the Sacramento Food Bank. Expanding the Farm and revitalizing its greenhouse could support a more consistent supply of fresh, locally grown food for the community.
